I am a visual artist and illustrator based in Inverness, Scotland. I make colourful, expressive work using illustration, mixed media and digital processes. My work often features characters, nature and visual storytelling, exploring themes of emotion, connection, empowerment and wellbeing.
I make art because it gives me a way to explore ideas, feelings and experiences that can be difficult to put into words. I am interested in the messy, funny and sometimes uncomfortable parts of being human. Nature, people and everyday experiences often become starting points for my work.
I want my work to make people stop, look and connect with something. It might make someone laugh, recognise an emotion or think about their own experiences in a different way. For me, art can create space for curiosity, reflection and conversation.
